Write 2 cognitive, 2 affective, and 2 psychomotor learning outcomes based on the RN initial assessment from week 3.

Meets Expectations

All goals meet the SMART goal format.

All six goals are appropriately identified as cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.

All 6 goals correspond with the identified learning outcome identified during the Initial Assessment Assignment.

### Cognitive Learning Outcomes

1. **Cognitive Outcome 1:**
By the end of the training session, the RN will accurately explain the process of conducting a comprehensive patient assessment, including obtaining patient history, performing physical examinations, and documenting findings, with 100% accuracy.

2. **Cognitive Outcome 2:**
By the end of the training session, the RN will identify and list at least five critical signs and symptoms of common medical conditions (e.g., myocardial infarction, stroke, sepsis) that require immediate intervention, demonstrating an understanding of the urgency in patient care.

### Affective Learning Outcomes

1. **Affective Outcome 1:**
By the end of the training session, the RN will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care by consistently showing empathy and active listening during patient interactions, as evidenced by patient feedback and peer evaluations.

2. **Affective Outcome 2:**
By the end of the training session, the RN will exhibit increased confidence in their assessment skills by participating in at least two simulated patient assessments and reflecting on their performance through a self-evaluation and peer feedback process.

### Psychomotor Learning Outcomes

1. **Psychomotor Outcome 1:**
By the end of the training session, the RN will accurately perform a head-to-toe physical assessment on a patient, including vital signs measurement, inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation, following standardized procedures and protocols.

2. **Psychomotor Outcome 2:**
By the end of the training session, the RN will demonstrate proper use of assessment tools (e.g., stethoscope, sphygmomanometer, otoscope) by completing a hands-on skills checklist with a passing score of 90% or higher.

These learning outcomes are designed to be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) to ensure clear expectations and effective assessment of the RN’s progress.
