For your Part 2: Curriculum Components Module Assignment, you will select the overarching philosophies, theories, and frameworks that will shape your nursing staff educational program.

 

When creating these curriculum components, consider the following:

· What is the long-term goal of your staff nursing education/professional development program?

For example, a hypothetical setting such as Nightingale Regional Medical/Health Center might create a program focused on improving patient safety and quality care. As such, the overall program goal might be “to decrease the incidence of clinical error to below the national level.”
