CLC Group Values

(What do we need to do to ensure our team’s success?)

What each team member agrees to do Why this is important to the team
Check into the CLC regularly to review progress on the assignment This is important due to the fact that this is going to allow us to make sure that the assignment is getting done in a timely manner and if there are any questions they can be addressed and answered by somebody in the group that has the answer and if they do not know the answer, we can ask the teacher.
Contribute ideas and feedback to the group from initial discussions throughout project completion This is important so that everyone can be on the same page and have a clear understanding of the assignment and what the requirements are. It’s important that everyone does their part to make the project successful.
Communicate with all CLC members as soon as a problem or issue arises
Maintain respectful communications with all team members Everyone should be treated as equal since this is a group project and all ideas and input should be acknowledged. The more brains the better!
Complete assigned tasks by the deadlines set by the CLC members
Take a leadership role in CLC assignments
Make sure to cite and reference all sources of information used in completing tasks

A CLC member doesn’t complete his or her task at all That person should not receive credit for the work done by the other people in the group.
A CLC member completes his or her task, but turns it in after the agreed-upon due date

| A CLC member doesn’t provide project ideas or feedback to other team members | The member will not receive credit for the work. The group will attempt to address the issue with the member; if unresolved, the remaining group members will complete the necessary work to ensure the project meets deadlines. |
| A CLC member doesn’t complete his or her task at all | That member will not receive credit for the work done by others. The remaining members will address the issue directly and divide the incomplete tasks among themselves to avoid project delays. |
| A CLC member completes his or her task but turns it in after the agreed-upon due date | The group will discuss the delay and may need to reassign tasks to ensure project deadlines are met. Consistent delays may result in the member not receiving full credit. |
| A CLC member does not engage in the assignment | The member will not receive credit for the project. The group will attempt to engage the member in discussions; if the lack of engagement persists, the group will continue with the remaining active members. |

Feel free to adjust any details to better fit your group’s needs and preferences.
